Review: In Cyborg Kenny you get to play as Cyborg Kenny (duh tongue.gif), which is a creation of Dr. Mephisto. You get mad, you escape and you gun down anyone in your way. You need to get your hands on the four Omega crystals in order to rule all over the world. It won't be a easy task with Mephisto on your back making plans to stop you.

The big part of Cyborg Kenny is played into top-view levels with you and your weaponry made of a blaster gun. There's security guards everywhere wanting you dead (or in the beginning of the game, just roam stupidly around the place, not giving out any attention to you) and you need to kill almost everybody in your way. In many levels things are complicated with small puzzles and switch-shooting puzzles. You need to find and fire every switch to open the door while avoiding the security clones. In the beginning of the game, it's pretty easy without having any smart enemies on your tail, but in later levels it's harder with the guards closing in to cap your ass. Another interesting thing is that you don't gain back your health when finishing a level, so you gotta tread with attention. To restore your health you'll need to find one of the Omega crystals.

But the gameplay doesn't stop in the top-view levels. There's many other levels out there. You'll be involved in a car chase, a shoot-out with an helicopter, a motor-skateboard chase, and even a spaceship ride. These offer a good change from the usual top-down levels, and most of these are pretty fun. Except the digging levels, though. These piss me off. You're given about 30 seconds to dig in many spots of snow or space sand in order to get a object you need. These are boring and can be in the worst of cases a frustation exercise. Luckly there is only two of them, and the rest of the game will make you forget about that.

Graphics of this game are a bland between Subwoofer's, Polygon's and Beamer's graphics. In overall it gives good results. It is pretty satisfactory to see all the gory animations of the clones when they die. >:) Unfortunately the background elements get repetitive after a while. You'll be on the final missions and you shall still see the same floor and wall tiles than those on the first level. I guess Mephisto wanted to save on construction material when he made his buildings and space stations tongue.gif The cutscenes are nicely done.

The soundtrack of Cyborg Kenny is pretty good. The Sonic midis used through a big part of the game fits the game theme and keep the game action up-beat. There's also a couple of my songs in the game, but I won't comment about that. tongue.gif Sound effects are nothing great, but they don't suck neither. You keep listening them for minutes over and over and your urge to kill people won't rise.

In the end, this game is a pretty satisfactory one. This bloody action game makes me reminder about the good ol' Kenny Rampage series. Only though that game gives offers much more faster and direct action than KR, which suits me fine. We got a new contendant for the most violent games ever, and it's fun at the same time. This game is for Beamer's second anniversary, and he gave himself a damn good present. Now go celebrate you too, damnit! smile.gif

Description: Mepeshto make a robot Kenny named Cyborg Kenny. It turn out that Cyborg Kenny is pure evil! Cyborg Kenny want to rule the world and go on a quest to find the 4 Omega crystals that can help him with that.



This is truly a good game. As above Mepeshto make a robot named Cyborg Kenny. When it turn out that CK ( Cybogr Kenny ) is pure evil. Mepeshto try to stop CK to find the 4 Omega crystals cause if he find them he will rule the world. Mepeshto send out his his helpers to stop CK in his mission to rule the world. As CK you carry a gun and must find the 4 OC ( Omega crystal's ). Its no shot limit so you can shoot all you want. But this game features more thinking than shooting. You must hide behind boxes, run trought battelfields of guards, go slow forward and kill one guard after one and some other stuff. Even though you se some blood when the badniks die it's more adventure and action than shoting and blood. The basical levels is levels where you walk around killing guards while trying to reach goal or get a OC. But this game features a lot more! There is car battles, digging levels, spaceship levels, Car race's, skateboard chases, much more and of course boss battles with a loot of different bosses to fight. This game also features a lot of good midis and if you win you get a midi jukebox with the abbility to play all the CK midis and some other midis. You also get some other cheats if you win. This game features a lot of exelent cutcenes too watch to. This game also has a save function. You must lose as small as possible health as your health also get saved. Luckely when you find a OC CK gain full health. Somebody may find this game a little short but apart from that it is a awesome game! The end it's also very cool but i wont tell anything tongue.gif
