Game: Come On Down To South Park

Review: I gather this was a rather early Beamer Game, due to the bad graphics, but can be excused, since this game is addictive. Anyway, the game title is a remake of the South Park episode intro. Then we see Beamer being introduced to Elementary school, despite Kenny not liking him, poor bastard sad.gif

Then Stan will ask you (Beamer) if you will play tennis with him, and then if you will go round his house for a sleepover, where in this part of the story, a challenge comes in; if you say yes, the challenge will be to go into a zombie infested graveyard. No and you will fight Kenny, who hates your guts.

After, you get a choice a game to play. You can play tag with Stan, Kyle and Kenny, or beat Pip silly with Cartman. The next episode of the story is a little boring. You go to a crappy auction with Kyle and first Kenny auctions a pencil for roughly 3 cents, but when the auction man throws it to him, it stabs in his face and blinds him in an eye. Then you auction a telly for $850, it wonders me how rich Beamer really is.

You then get a choice to watch a show, you can watch Terrance & Philip or Play Station game trailers, but you can only watch PSTs, since T & P apparently has technical difficulties dry.gif

Then, OMG, OMG smile.gif , you finally get to do something REALLY fun, you go to a video arcade. One game is void, but the other one is a zombie shoot-out, which rocks! laugh.gif

After, Beamer is phoned for a game of softball, but before that, you skateboard in the roads and avoid vehicles, which is an unofficial sequel to a shitty game he made, called Skateboard Stan.

The ending is sad, despite Beamer actually writing it! Beamer has to go back to Australia, but promises to come back, but when he does, it has been 38 years (making him 46 since he's the same age as the boys who are 8/9), and he gets murdered by a teenage "bunch of homos" ph34r.gif

Then this game is concluded. So really, it unfolds in a rather neat and tidy storyboard. This game in fact did very well, considering it was rather an old project The only thing that ought to be tidied up is the sprites/graphics and gameplay. But this game is still a "must-play" blink.gif and can be located in the games-section, over 'n' out! biggrin.gif

Review: In this early Beamer game, you must control Beamer, who has moved to South Park.

Let's talk about gameplay. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good for an early game. It's also a bit too easy, but the addictiveness makes up for it.

There's a lot of games you can play. There's Dodgeball, Beat Up Pip, Tag with Kyle & Stan, Auction and many more!

Well, I know I suck in writing reviews. Bleh, I suck in generally writing, but I though that I had to write a review for this game, since it's one of the first SPGs I've played and it's also a game that started my career as game-maker.
