Some of them manage to be kept in good memory and most of them are pretty pointless. This game is somehow in the middle of these two extremes but tends a little to the latter. Everything looks neat & tidy, nothing more, nothing less. Not much graphics here, but they look all ok, very crisp and clear indeed. In-game backgrounds are only made of white dots that represent stars. The adding of some planets in the background or anything else regarding space wouldn't have hurt because all you see in the game is your chosen character and the alien spacecrafts. The music has three tunes, a Sonic tune, which seems to be a trademark of Beamer's games, and two other ones for in-game & high-scores. For such a small game it's a decent amount of music. The only sound effects you will hear in the whole game are "boom and bang." You select characters at first, unfortunately they don't differ at all only their obvious appearance. You go up or down and shoot the alien spacecrafts. This gets boring real fast and you'll eventually kamikaze on purpose into an alien ship. You're asked to enter your name and after that you're number one on the high-score list. You only compete with yourself and who actually wants to do that? Certainly not me! It's even possible to not die in this game, there's no challenge at all. Once you've checked it out for a few minutes, it's faster in the recycle bin than you can even think of. In the end it's an average little game that's polished enough so you won't get an headache like in a similar, yet inferior, game like 007 Golden Eye. It's nonetheless a good time-waster, so check it out if you feel like to waste time. tongue.gif
